Becoming is a work about stretching to be the best one can possibly be. It’s about discovering the ability to see past the many voices in the world to find out who one is, without the voices of expectation put on them. It’s learning to see the world differently and finding so many more beautiful perspectives.

This work builds a scene of hope as the main character moves from a small, depressed state to one of confidence and happiness within themselves, despite the voices around them. 

The work is mixed a media assemblage using different collected and 3D printed parts and finished in metallic reactive paint to create work that is fun, narrative, and visually complex.
