Nevertheless

I decided to paint a visual representation of the Installation Art Piece that the Art Show team created for the Gather Conference 2025. I wanted to depict the tree, brilliant and shining and full of vibrant colors. I personally have been through several “Dark nights of the soul” in my life, experiences that have broken me and then shaped me. I feel like at this point on my journey I have stepped into the darkness having faith that God would lead me and help me to learn the lessons He had in store for me along the way, so now, at this point in my life, I relate to seeing the beautiful vista of the light that God has to offer after weathering the storm and darkness. I am happy and I feel like this tree, for me, depicts the happiness and confidence that I have found as I have put my trust in God and let him lead and guide my life.
