This piece is about vision. Namely how our perceptions change as we go about the day to day. Life isn't neat, it's chaotic and often messy but riddled with order and opportunity...like my work. I see the goggles and telescope as representative of the possibilities we open ourselves up to from being open to learn, seeing past the moment into future potential. This works invites it's viewer to be a visionary in their own life, seeking knowledge and improvement with each passing day.
